In the good old days, we experienced media collectively.

Nowadays, we have our own personal screens...

WeTube aims to bring back that nostalgic feeling of watching a broadcast together. The tv-screen has been replaced by a huge urban screen, the content isn't limited to one or two tv-channels, but it's containing the trillion videoclips of the channel of today: Youtube.

Finally, the single 'remote control' is appropriately replaced by a collaborative control: the group of viewers. To influence the broadcast, they can not act alone. They're dependent on the people next to them, and they're dependend on the people elsewhere, connected through the internet, seeing and tagging the filmed movements and gestures of the people on the square.
